Page last modified
April 11 2024

SoluForce has developed a spoolable Reinforced Thermoplastic industrial Piping system (RTP or FCP) for hydrogen applications. Unique in the world of hydrogen transport and a global first. With a significantly lower CO eq. footprint compared to alternatives, this ready to use pipeline solution has a major impact on the feasibility of green hydrogen and a sustainable supply chain. Being non-metallic, it is fully flexible, corrosion-free, does not suffer from hydrogen embrittlement and is quick and simple to install

Pros & Limitations
No corrosion and hydrogen embrittlement
Up to 4x lower CO₂ eq. footprint compared to steel pipe production and installation
Maintenance-free (TCO >20% lower than steel pipes)
Flexible & light
Fast and easy installation
Very easy to transport anywhere in the world
Up to 400 meters of pipe per coil
Currently, operating pressures are limited to 42 bar. Operating envelope will increase in the future.
