The Dutch and German economies are very intertwined. In 2019, the trade value between the two countries was around € 193 billion. Also the collaboration in science, innovation and technology is strong.
Thanks to the proximity and to the climate ambitions of both Germany and the Netherlands, there are many business opportunities in the energy transition, particularly in the areas of hydrogen, offshore wind and sustainable mobility.
